Focus areas
What you would do
- Analyse how farmers actually use the platform, and turn that into changes we ship.
- Design flows that work on a mid-range Android phone on a weak connection, for someone who may be reading their second language.
- Work on the 17 platform modules — from soil analysis and crop recommendation through to market prices and the season record.
- Build the reporting that tells us whether a change helped or not.
Who this fits
- You can hold a user in your head who is not like you.
- Some SQL, spreadsheets, Figma, or analytics tooling — you do not need all four.
- You would rather test an assumption than argue about it.
Hours, and being straight about pay
The programme is fully remote and open worldwide. It runs 20 hours a week on US Eastern time, so check the overlap with your own timezone before applying — outside the Americas that means evening or early-morning hours. It is a learning-focused programme: supervised projects, mentorship and regular feedback, a completion certificate, and a reference based on performance.
This is an unpaid programme. There is no salary or stipend. We would rather say that plainly on this page than have you find it out after you have applied.
