Prices at agricultural markets (mandis) move day to day and differ from one market to the next. A farmer who knows the current rate — and how it compares across nearby mandis and to last week — is in a far stronger position to decide when and where to sell.

One thing to know: this data is updated in a daily batch and some markets may not report every day, so always check the date on the price you are reading. A price without a date can be misleading.

e-NAM (enam.gov.in), the National Agriculture Market, connects many mandis into a single online platform and shows trade prices from participating markets. Many state agricultural marketing boards also run their own portals and apps with local mandi rates.
